We ensure the conditions: a quiet place, headphones, notifications turned off; the camera can be off at the beginning if that makes it easier. Then I work directly with the teenager — we talk about what is genuinely making their life difficult (school, relationships, stress, sleep, phone), we set 1-2 specific steps for the upcoming week, and check what works.
